Summer Religious Camp 2018-19
There is delightful news for parents who opine that their children should learn our ancient culture and incorporate it into their lives. You can send your child to participate in the religious education camp organized by paryaya Shri Palimaru Matha.
Shri Palimaru Matha organizes religious education for interested vipra boys and girls every year during the summer holidays. This camp is being conducted since several years.
The boys will be imparted education in prātaḥ stōtras, maṅgalāṣṭaka, method of applying gōpīcandana, trikāla sandhyāvandana, dēva pūje, brahmayajña-dēva-rushi-āchārya tarpana and pitr̥u tarpaṇa (only to the required), agnikārya, aupāsan agni kārya, vēdasūktas and bhōjana rituals. The girls will be taught early morning rituals, maṅgalāṣṭaka, stōtra/dasara padas to be recited in the morning, hostilu pūje, stree japakrama, tulasīpūje, bhōjana rituals, etc.
Instead of completing all of this study in one year, it has been spaced out over 3 -4 year training camps to facilitate gradual learning.
Without forgetting the cultural lessons taught in the previous years, participants have been eagerly taking up the next level camp every year. The increase in number of participants year on year evinces the efficacy of the program.
This year, the camp is scheduled to be held from 13.04.2018 to 29.04.2018. Those interested can avail of this program. Application forms may be obtained at the Badagumalige office at Shri Krishna Matha.
Venue of the camp: Shri Palimaru Matha, Ratha beedi, Udupi
Time: Every noon from 2:00 p.m. to 5.30 p.m.
