Who is Kamalaa?
kam cha mam cha laati iti kamalaa
(कं च मं च लाति इति कमला)
Kamalaa is the one who gives wealth and the wisdom.
(क) Ka means wealth, (म)Ma means knowledge. Lakshmi will always accompany Shri Vishnu in all his forms. Shri Hari will get all of Lakshmi’s works accomplished by residing inside her. Today the revered Shri Shripadaru decorated Shri Krishna in a feminine form called Kamalaa and worshipped Him by performing laksha tulasee archane.
Godess Lakshmi will bring us wealth called devotion and knowledge by donning the form of Kamalaa. She gives wealth and knowledge. Wealth is devotion, while knowledge is the jnana to understand the supreme Lord. By residing inside Kamalaa Devi, Lord Shri Krishna will be the ordainer of her through His feminine form Kamalaa only.
Godess Lakshmi will also be in the Kamalaa form when the Lord is in His Madhava form.
