A convention of scholars from the Shivalli Brahmin Priests Association was convened at the kanakamantapa of Shri Krishna Matha under the aegis of Shri Palimaru Matha and in the presence of His Holiness Vidyadheesha Teertha. Vid.Prasanna Acharya Nitte present an essay on (shodasha samskara) “marriage rituals – kanyadaana”. The Association President, Kidiyoor Ramadasa Bhat and others were present.
Mangaluru MP Nalin Kumar Kateel who was appointed as the new Karnataka unit State President of the BJP,, visited Shri Krishna Matha, paid obeisance to Lord Krishna and received the blessings of His Holiness Vidyadheesha Sripaadaru.
