Mahadhana alankara, nitya laksha tulasee archane and maha pooje, 19.02.2019
Paryaya Shri Shripadaru today performed, laksha tulasi archane and mahaapooje by invoking the form of Mahadhanaha in Shri Krishna.
Meaning of Mahadhana
1)One who has superior wealth and riches. : Brihadaarynakopanishat has analysed Lord’s wealth as complete, and hence superior. (Brihadaaranyaka upanishat 6/3/32). Even the Rig-Veda says, “in the matter of wealth, there is no one who can exceed the riches of the The almighty Lord.” (Rig-veda 40/8)
2)One who possesses wealth called bliss. (Commentary of Shri Vidyaadhiraajateertharu)
3)One who grants Himself as superior wealth to His devotees. : Kuntidevi has eulogised the Lord as the one who is like wealth to His selfless and sincere devotees. (Bhaagavata 1/8/27)
4)One who grants the most superior wealth called Moksha(Liberation) : Svaayambhuva Manu calls Moksha as wealth, and prays to ‘Agni named Lord’, for taking him towards it. “Agne naye supathaa Raaye…”.(Ishaavaashya Upanishat 2/5)
5)One who bestows superior wealth in the form of knowledge.
6)One who grants superior worldly riches.
7)The one to whom , Superior and Righteous wealth is dedicated to. : Wealth which compliments and nurtures devotion to Himself (Shri Krishna) is Dharma(righteousness) and this Dharma is to be desired by the devotees. Shri Krishna has thus preached to Uddhava. (Bhaagavata 11/19/29 and 39)
8)One who blesses bountiful wealth, through worship and celebrations.
9)One who grants wealth to Brahma and all others.
