The pontiff of the paryaya His Holiness Vidyadeesha Teertha, His Holiness Vishvesha Teertha, His Holiness Vishvaprasanna Teertha, His Holiness Vidyavallabha Teertha, His Holiness Vishvavallabha Teertha and His Holiness Eeshapriya Teertha were present during the occasion. According to the tradition of Shri Matha, His Excellency and the First Lady were greeted with the poornakumbha. The Governor of Karnataka, Shri Vajubhai Vala and Governor of Nagaland, Shri Padmanabha Acharya accompanied The President.
After visiting Lord Krishna, the traditional honour was accorded to His Excellency at the chandrashale. During this ceremony, His Holiness of the paryaya metaphorically stated “Great rivers such as Ganga, Yamuna and Saraswati flow across North India. Likewise three great rivers are associated with the southern region. South India is a confluence of the great rivers called Shankaracharya, Ramanujacharya and Madhvacharya. Lord Krishna was installed here by Acharya Madhva. Lord Krishna Himself has called upon His Excellency. It is our prayer that you be bestowed with auspiciousness.”
His Excellency expressed delight over visiting this pious place, seeing the Lord and all the seers.
