Krishna Katha – Online Story Telling Contest Results

By the order of our beloved Swamiji HH Shri Vidyadheesha Teertha Sripadangalavaru, Tatwa Samshodana Samsat, Udupi had organized an online story telling competition for children aged between 5 and 7 years. The contest was open in 4 languages – Kannada, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi where the child was to narrate any of the incidents from the saga of Lord Shri Krishna in their own style and form for 3 minutes.

Under the stewardship of Shri Vamshi Krishna Acharya, the director of Tattwa Samshodhana Samsat, a team of 22 volunteers worked on it – propagating and inviting participants.

Being an online contest, 64 cute Jewels from all over the globe participated and sent their videos. A jury of 15 learned people reviewed each video and awarded the scores based on clarity in narration, body language and moral message conveyed in the story, confidence and presentation style.

Following are the four story tellers to secure first place in their respective language. A coral beads mala offered to the Lord Shri Ramachandra will be sent to all the winning individuals at the earliest. All the contestants would be awarded participation certificates.  Congratulations.

Parents of the winning children are requested to share with us their postal address, email id and phone number for further communication.

Overall, this initiative by Tatwa Samshodana Samsat was a success, not only because it reached a wide section of children but also because it has sown the seeds of Bhagavat Bhakti both in the minds of the parents and their children at an early age, which is our Swamiji’s intent and desire behind this contest. We pray at Sri Hari Vayu Gurugalu to shower their choicest blessing on all children and their parents. Also, we wish this short story of Krishna plays a vital role in everyone’s future building.
