The day 5 of Swarna Gopura Samarpane was a confluence of religious discourses, musical event and celebration of world environment day at Udupi. Vidwan Sri Kallapura Pavamanacharya gave discourse on a subject ‘Krishnana Anuchara Poshakatva’. Veteran musician Sri O.S Arun conducted a carnatic classical concert.
On account of world environmental day a special program called Sasya Gopuram was organised in the auspicious presence of Sri Sri Vidyadheesha Teertha Sripadaru and Sri Sri Vidyavallabha Teertha Sripadaru of Kaniyuru Matha. Dharmadhikari of Sri Dharmasthala Rajarshi Dr. Veerendra Heggade distributed various wild saplings to the public during this event.
