The junior seer of Shri Pejavara Matha His Holiness Vishvaprasanna Teertha rendered a discourse on Aadiparva of Mahabharata for three days i.e. 27, 28 and 29. This was conducted as a part of the nirantara jnana satra initiative undertaken by Shri Palimaru Matha. The mangala was held on 29th. On this occasion, His Holiness Vidyadeesha Teertha of the paryaya honored His Holiness Vishvaprasanna Teertha by draping a shawl. The junior seer of Adamaru Matha His Holiness Eeshapriya Teertha was also present.
Yaksha ashtaha – an eight day yakshagana program was presented by Dhareshwara Yakshabala Charitable Trust ® Kirimanjeshwara in collaboration with Tallur’s Family Trust, International Lions Club District 317-C under the patronage of paryaya Shri Palimaru Matha, Udupi at the rajangana of Shri Krishna Matha between 21st – 29th of this month. Being the 3rd year of the yaksha ashtaha conference, His Holiness of the paryaya Vidyadeesha Teertha honored and blessed the yakshagana artist Jambooru Ramachandra Shanubhog. As guests, Pradeep Kallur, President of Kallur Foundation, Sanjeeva T.Karkera, Secretary of Lions District 317-C, Manjunatha Upadya, President of Udupi District Brahmin Sabha, P. Kishan Hegde, the owner of Bahumela, prasangakarta Vittala Kamat, Tallur Shivarama Bhat of Tallur Family Trust and Raghavendra Udupa, working member of yakshagana were present.
On the 3rd year yaksha ashtaha, “Dhanvantari Mahime” episode yakshagana was presented by Dhareshwara Yakshabala Charitable Trust ® Kirimanjeshwara
A bharatanatya performance was delivered by the sankeerna group from Dubai as a part of the cultural program undertaken by paryaya Shri Palimaru Matha at the rajangana of Shri Krishna Matha.
