First Krishna Pooja by Sri Sri Vidyarajeshwara Teertha Sripadaru
As per the traditions formulated by Lord Madhwacharya for Ashta Matha, the successor appointed would be eligible to perform the entire set of daily rituals of Lord Krishna only after the successful completion of their first Chaturmasya penance post entering into Sanyasashrama. This has been followed without gaps till date. As per the same, Shri Vidyarajeshwara Teertharu, the junior pontiff of Paryaya Sri Palimaru Matha who has recently completed His first chaturmasya performed the ‘Shodashopachaara’ pooja under the divine aegis of his Guru and senior pontiff, Sri Vidyadheesha Teertharu. This pontiffs of Kaniyooru and Sode Matha, Shri Vidyavallabha Teertharu and Shri Vishwavallabha Theertharu were present on the occasion.
