Shri Krishna matha hosted today a special musical concert in which over 90 veena players played various classical compositions . This outstanding musical event was organised at Rajangana by Paryaya Sri Palimaru matha in association with Dr. Pallattadka Keshavabhat Memorial Trust of Manipala.
His Holiness Vidyadheesha Teertha Swamiji inaugurated the event by pouring water to a tulasi sapling. While addressing the huge gathering of musicians and music lover Sri Swamiji explained the spiritual significance of Veena. Vidushi Devaki Bhat, Vidushi Yogavandana, Dr. Anasooya devi, Smt. Pavana, Dr. Balachandra Achar were present during the inauguration. His Holiness Sri Swamiji honoured 9 veena teachers. The event was followed by individual’s rendition.
